Absolutely in LOVE with this beaded necklace… It is a vintage necklace that my grandma has had since the 60s or 70s…. I literally don’t think I have ever seen a cooler piece of jewelry. I paired it with this slouchy shirt and striped maxi skirt (that I literally wear every other day)… Plus, my new Ralph Lauren glasses that I love (that happened to match the necklace and shoes perfectly!)…

With graduation about to run me over like a freight train, I have been trying to take advantage of every second left of my college career. Any free time has been used to sleep (but not much of that has been happening). With my senioritis RAGING out of control, I have left all my HUGE, MAJOR assignments to be completed in the last this week (smart I know…). So that’s what I have been doing –> being crazy and now working my ass off to finish everything on time.
This has not left much time or effort for blogging. But I miss it. SO after Thursday (when everything will be done), I will hopefully be back (but I might just drink myself into oblivion… or at least take a very long nap). I have also started to pack (so the drinking myself into oblivion doesn’t get derailed for moving purposes)… It is so SURREAL that it is all happening so quickly! It’s fun and excited though! YEEHAWWW… be back soon (I hope)…

I just can’t help by rave about my mom… Is she not the most sassy thing ever! While we were at the St. Regis having some cocktails, we decided to snap some photos on this amazing couch! My mom was looking as chic as ever in this outfit and was a perfect subject–almost matching the couch perfectly.
The skinny jeans and the flowy blouse are an easy pair. Plus a long necklace and a stack of bracelets add the perfect dab of color.
I lent her these amazing Lucky Brand heels of mine (which were not her favorite things to walk in–seeing as she doesn’t wear heels higher than about an inch or two!), but they looked great with her outfit!
I also died when I saw these new earrings of hers. The feathers, the hoops, the crystal, the spikes… These are the PERFECT earrings! It took all the self-control in my body not to steal them from her… LOVE!

I am kind of in love with this vest-thing… I got it at the Dallas Flea before Christmas. It is a huge scarf with colorful birds and feathers all over it tied into a vest. I’ve never thought to do that with scarves, and now the idea has me excited to try it with other ones…
The vest is long and printed, so I paired it with a simple black dress…
I accesorized it with my snakeskin Elizabeth and James wedges (also here and here), my gold Rolex and these awesome green earrings I got from a street vendor in NYC last summer!

So, I have taken a much need blog break… but I am back! Spring break helped start this break…
Three of my girlfriends and I went to Park City, Utah for a relaxing, fun ski and snowboarding trip over Spring Break, then ended the madness with a CRAZY trip to Las Vegas.
Vegas was a ridiculous whirlwind (that included a crazyyyyy St. Patricks Day) and provided its usual insanity for us! Overall–crazy-amazing spring break…
The weekend after spring break my mom came and visited for a few days! We had so much fun (including raging at a silent disco…)! I was so happy she came, but as per usual, the trip was not even close to long enough!
Now, I am facing my last few weeks of college (can’t freaking believe it!)… Life is crazy busy right now, but I am excited to start blogging again!
